- Drawing or STEP file
- Annual volume and expected order frequency
- Material and finish specification
- Any inspection or acceptance criteria
- Target price, if you have one
Set expectations up front
If we are the wrong shop, we will tell you.
We decline rather than quote badly when:
The volume is too low for tooling to amortize — our cost advantage comes from tooling amortized over production volume, so we are not competitive on small runs.
The part needs simultaneous five-axis work or single-micron tolerances — Vietnam's precision base does not reach that today, and we would rather say so on the first call than after tooling is committed.
Your approved-vendor list requires a signed ISO 9001 certificate today — ours is in progress, not held. Tell us before you send a drawing, not after samples ship.
