Precision metal parts · made in Vietnam

CNC machining in Vietnam, with die casting, stamping and finishing managed by one supplier.

Saola Manufacturing is a manufacturing partner for CNC machining in Vietnam, with die casting, stamping and finishing through the same contact: work is placed with partner plants we vet and inspected before shipment, and every quote names the plant and the country of origin. Most OEMs run a cast-and-machined part across three vendors and coordinate it themselves; we take the raw material through to a finished, inspected, packed part. Tooling through production — one PO, one lead time, one point of blame.

Saola Manufacturing (also written Sao La Manufacturing) is the brand of Aximora Global Trading Co., Ltd., a Ho Chi Minh City company that places and manages metal-parts work in Vietnam. CNC turning and milling run at our lead partner plant, T.K Viet Nam Precision Company Limited (former Binh Duong Province, since 2017); die casting, stamping, surface finishing and other processes go to partner factories we manage; every quote names the production site and the country of origin.

01 — What one supplier actually means

Five operations, one part number, one invoice.

This is a typical routing for a cast-and-machined part. We place each step, move the part between plants and hold one inspection standard from casting to carton, so nobody bills you for coordination and nothing gets lost between two vendors' inspection standards. The quote names the plant for every step.

  1. Die cast

ADC12 aluminum or Zamak 3 zinc, cast by a partner foundry on dedicated production tooling.

  2. CNC machine

Datum faces, bores and threads cut to print on the casting at our lead CNC plant.

  3. Polish & deburr

Parting line dressed flush, all sharp edges removed.

  4. Coat & mark

Powder coat or plate, then pad-print the part identification, at a partner finishing plant.

  5. Inspect & pack

Dimensional check, individual bagging, cartons under 30 lb.

Why buyers care about this

A cast-and-finished part bought in pieces needs three POs, three inbound freight legs and three sets of tribal knowledge — and when a coated surface shows a defect, the caster blames the coater. One supplier collapses that into one conversation.

02 — Capabilities

Two processes at our lead CNC plant. Nine through partner plants we manage.

We label these honestly, because you will find out either way on the first RFQ. In-house means the machines and people of our lead CNC plant. Managed means we hold the drawing, the PO and the inspection, and a partner plant makes the part; the quote names which plant and where.

In-house · our lead CNC plant

In-house

CNC Turning

Bar and tube work on CNC lathes: bushings, caps, inserts, shafts, knurled and threaded features.

ANPT/NPT to ASME B1.20.1 · knurling

In-house

CNC Milling

Secondary machining on castings and blanks — datum faces, bores, pockets and tapped holes held to geometric tolerance.

±0.001 in. (0.025 mm) bores · GD&T to Ø0.003 in · 125 RMS

Managed Six more processes, run through partners we manage. Sand casting, extrusion, injection molding, sheet metal, waterjet, rotational molding. See the managed list

Managed

Die Casting

ADC12 aluminum and Zamak 3 zinc, from housings and bases to covers and lamp heads. Cast by partner foundries on production tooling; tooling ownership is set in the quote.

Stamping

Sheet and strip parts — blanking, forming, piercing and coining. Brackets, washers, clips and plates, pressed by partner stamping plants.

Progressive and compound dies · deburred, oiled, packed

MIM & Powder Metallurgy

Small stainless and steel parts by metal injection molding, and sintered gears, cams and bushings by powder metallurgy, from a partner plant we manage in Vietnam. For high-volume part numbers.

Aluminum Extrusion

Profile programs placed with a partner extruder. We hold the drawing, the purchase order and the incoming inspection.

Quoted as a managed program, not an in-house process

Managed

Injection Molding

Plastic parts and over-molded assemblies placed with a partner molder, so a mixed metal-and-plastic assembly still ships on one PO.

Managed

Sheet Metal & Laser Cutting

Laser-cut, formed and welded fabrications placed with a partner shop and inspected to your drawing before it ships.

Waterjet Cutting

Thick-plate and heat-sensitive profiles placed with a partner cutter when a part is wrong for laser or stamping.

Rotational Molding

Hollow plastic bodies and tanks placed with a partner molder for programs that pair with our metal components.

03 — Landed cost, not unit price

Your quote is not your cost. We will show you the difference.

Almost every Vietnam supplier's website still advertises "avoid the 25% Section 301 tariff". That stopped being the rule on 24 July 2026. The current picture is two-sided, and for some part families Vietnam's advantage is far smaller than the headline suggests — because Section 232 metals duties do not care where the part was made.

Vietnam —12.5%12.5%
China 25%12.5%37.5%

Section 301 only. Most-favored-nation duty, Section 232 metals duties and any anti-dumping order stack on top and must be read against your specific HTS code.

Representative work

The part families we run.

These are the shapes, materials and finishes our lines are set up for. If your part looks like one of these, we can quote it from your drawing in 48 hours.

05 — Why Vietnam, and where it is hard

The honest version.

You have read the brochure version elsewhere. Here is what actually decides whether moving a part here works — including three things that will count against us.

What genuinely works

Tariff separation from China

Vietnam-origin parts sit outside the legacy Section 301 list. For part families not caught by Section 232, that is a real double-digit swing in landed cost.

Multi-process work is cheap here

Labor-intensive routings — deburring, polishing, masking, hand-packing — are where Vietnam beats both China and the United States by the widest margin.

A second country, not a second continent

If your dual-sourcing plan needs somewhere that is not China but still inside the Asian supply base, the shipping lanes and lead times barely change.

What counts against us

Vietnam's precision base is thinner than China's

That is simply true. If your part needs simultaneous five-axis work or single-micron tolerances, we are the wrong shop and we will tell you on the first call rather than after tooling is committed.

Some raw material still comes from China

Which matters for origin, not just for lead time. We document the material source and the value added here for every part number — see tariffs and origin.

We are a small company

A small team in Ho Chi Minh City, with a lead CNC plant running since 2017. No multinational balance sheet behind us. For some buyers that is a risk; for others it is why the person who answers the phone owns the result. Ask us for the capacity table before you decide.

06 — Before you send a drawing

The four questions every buyer asks first.

Short answers here; the rest on the FAQ page.

What is your minimum order quantity?

Minimum order quantity is set per part and process, and confirmed in the written quote. Our cost advantage comes from tooling amortized over production volume, so if your volume is too low for us to be competitive we will tell you rather than quote badly.

Do you hold ISO 9001?

Not yet — certification is in progress. What we can send today is our business registration certificate, an equipment and capacity list, first-article inspection reports, material certification and salt-spray results. If a signed ISO certificate is a gate for your approved-vendor list, tell us now rather than after the samples.

How do you price and how do you get paid?

Quoted FOB Ho Chi Minh City; DDP terms and the importer-of-record arrangement are confirmed per quote. Tooling is priced separately from the piece price, and payment terms for tooling and production orders are set out in the written quote.

Can you prove the parts are Vietnamese origin?

Yes, and we treat it as an engineering question rather than a paperwork one — the process routing, the material source and the value added here, per part number, plus a Certificate of Origin issued by Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade. For the parts that matter most to you we will file for a binding ruling from US Customs.

Send one drawing. See what comes back.

STEP or PDF, one part or a whole family. You get a unit price at your volume, the tooling cost, the lead time and a short note on anything in the drawing we would change to take cost out — within 48 hours.
