Set expectations up front
If we are the wrong shop, we will tell you.
We decline rather than quote badly when:
The program is under roughly 2,000 pieces — our cost advantage comes from tooling amortized over volume, so we are not competitive below that.
The part needs simultaneous five-axis work or single-micron tolerances — Vietnam's precision base does not reach that today, and we would rather say so on the first call than after a tooling deposit.
Your approved-vendor list requires a signed ISO 9001 certificate today — ours is in progress, not held. Tell us before you send a drawing, not after samples ship.
